QUALITY OF SERVICE REPORT FOR CELLULAR MOBILE OPERATORS IN

DAR ES SALAAM, SEPTEMBER – DECEMBER 2015

 

In fulfilment of the requirements of the Electronic and Postal Communications (Quality of Service) Regulations, 2011 the Tanzania Communications Regulation Authority carried out tests of Quality of Service (QoS) for voice and data services from the end user viewpoints. Measurements were carried out aiming at testing the compliance of Cellular Mobile Operators to their obligations in ensuring quality services are offered to the end users. This report is based on the findings of QoS as offered by Airtel (T) Ltd, Benson Informatics Ltd trading as SMART, Millicom International Cellular (T) Ltd trading as Tigo, Vodacom (T) Ltd and Zanzibar Telecom Ltd (ZANTEL) in Dar es Salaam service area. Measurements were done from 1st to 4th December 2015.
