World Password Day happens the first Thursday of May, therefore this year its 6sup>th/sup> May 2021. It addresses the critical need for solid passwords. This refers to adding strong authentication to your important passwords to prevent identity theft and other cybercrimes.

• There is a lot of Information on the Internet

So much of our information lives on the internet. Just think about your mobile money account, social media pages, online banking accounts, shopping sites, and the list goes on. Make sure the passwords are solid and diversified.

• Privacy is Key

Don’t share your password with anyone, even your family members because when someone commits a cybercrime offence through your phone you will be answerable and not him or her simply because the phone that was used is yours. Today is a great day to sit down and educate yourself on why password was created.
